Apparitions and Miracles

According to the Bible miraculous apparitions are the work of the devil, who "dresses up even like an angel of light" to deceive! "(I Corinthians 11:14-15)

 

Mary the Mother of Jesus has nothing to do with all this, absolutely nothing. If only she could see what is happening on earth with her image, she would turn over in her grave, just for respect for her son Jesus Christ the only Mediator.

The apparition always looks like a lady in a three-dimensional figure who lives, breathes and is surrounded by a bright light. The visionaries refer that she's a beautiful young woman who glows with a radiant splendor. They describe her as bright to contemplate in wonder, and admit that the Queen of Heaven is beyond any human description.

Marian followers reported of a strange light and beautiful views which often accompany the apparitions. There were also luminescent angels orbits, tongues of fire, mysterious and solar phenomena peculiar luminous clouds. Owing to the incredible sense of pleasure and joy felt by seers during these events, the most commonly used word to describe this event is ecstasy (gr. ekstasis = trance). Those who see apparitions admitted to be paralyzed and spellbound by her beauty and her charm.

Throughout the world, in the apparitions' places it has been reported of many healings and miracles. Furthermore, the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary has repeatedly announced that her signs and wonders will have more meaning inthe future. SHe admitted that she had not yet revealed herself to the world in the fullness of her glory, and she prefers to show heavenly signs and wonders which the world understand soon.

Let's consider these messages received from the following three distinct visionaries:

My sign is emerging. That's God's will. My children recognize him, as He is revealed in secret and praise the Lord for it. Today I can not reveal my power to the whole world. I should retire with my children. Secretly I will do miracles on the souls until the number of sacrifices has reached its fullness ... Then I will reveal to the world.

Soon I will come, my children! Soon I will be with you in a great view. Illuminate the whole world. Many souls will cry because they didn't hear my call ... I will above all in a cloud and everyone will see me. What will those who have insulted me and that I feel have become their plaything? ... I'll soon my children, to travel around the world. Give a great sign in heaven for those who still want to be saved. All those who will use me, those who have a look of repentance, this will be enough to save them (message received by Italian visionary Rosa Quattrini)

You may notice, as this message received by Rosa Quattrini is in the Bible to the woman who shows up in all the earth and to which God is referred to as the "evil" in Zechariah chapter 5:

Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, a flying scroll!
And he said to me, "What do you see?" I answered, "I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits."
Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole land; for every one who steals shall be cut off henceforth according to it, and every one who swears falsely shall be cut off henceforth according to it. I will send it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it shall abide in his house and consume it, both timber and stones." Then the angel who talked with me came forward and said to me, "Lift your eyes, and see what this is that goes forth." And I said, "What is it?" He said, "This is the ephah that goes forth." And he said, "This is their iniquity in all the land." And behold, the leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting in the ephah! And he said, "This is Wickedness." And he thrust her back into the ephah, and thrust down the leaden weight upon its mouth.
Then I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, two women coming forward! The wind was in their wings; they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah between earth and heaven.
Then I said to the angel who talked with me, "Where are they taking the ephah?" He said to me, "To the land of Shinar, to build a house for it; and when this is prepared, they will set the ephah down there on its base."

I would also say that before my apparitions finally come out, I will be seen from every denomination and religion in the world. I will be seen by all nations and not for a moment, everyone will have opportunity to see me. The way I appeared in Zeitoun, I will appear again, so everyone will see me. Pray that my plans will be realized throughout the world.

Indeed a large numbers of apparitions are increasing with surprice. Consider that each year at Guadalupe in Mexico there are 15 to 20 million Marian followers who visit a unique sanctuary, one dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, who appeared to Juan Diego in 1531. On December 12, 1999, the anniversary of the apparition of the Virgin Mary five million pilgrims went to pay homage at the shrine to Our Lady. Moreover, 1999 marked the first time in the Church history where the celebration of the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe was celebrated by all the bishops and priests of the Western Hemisphere.

In the apostolic exhortation released during his visit to Mexico in 1999, Pope John Paul II declared 12 December holy day for the Catholic Church.

In post-war Bosnia, according to a rough estimate, there would be 30 million pilgrims who have visited Medjugorje since the first apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary started in 1981. Besides the six visionaries who regularly receive messages from the Virgin, thousands of pilgrims say they see signs and wonders, they also experience healings and hear the voice of Mary in Medjugorje. Visiting Medjugorje is a risky undertaking that requires many hours of bus on roads devastated by war. The millions of pilgrims who venture to Medjugorje do with the knowledge that their pilgrimage will be difficult and dangerous - yet they continue to arrive in droves.

A Conyers, Georgia, Nancy Fowler with its visions, received at his farm up to 100,000 visitors per day. The pilgrims come from everywhere, many travel long distances to hear the latest message of the Blessed Mother. The Grotto of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, Maryland, visitors increased to reach 500,000 people all year.

The Marian apparitions are therefore, in our day, everywhere. Almost every state in America shows the Marian apparitions and many of these places attract thousands of people! From New York City to San Francisco, have been documented on numerous visits to the Queen of Heaven. The number of followers Marian and their determination in going to listen to Virgin reveals that these people are merely curious tourists, but a huge and growing flock of disciples Marian.

Each year, 5 and a half million pilgrims visit the place where Our Lady appeared at Lourdes, France.The Marian shrine of Poland, Our Lady of Czestochowa (a favorite of Madonna by the late Pope John Paul II), attracts a number of pilgrims is around 5 million. The place where you made Our Lady of Knock, Ireland, attracts millions of people in this shrine paid tribute during the twentieth century, four popes, including Pope John Paul II, who went on pilgrimage to Knock, Ireland in 1979.
In Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, where it is said that the Virgin is Mana appeared more than 50 years ago, religious devotees arrive in their thousands from all over the world. The place has become so popular that you are preparing to build a statue of the Virgin twice higher than the Statue of Liberty in New York. A local newspaper reported that:

The large-scale heroic statue of Our Lady of the Rosary, part of the mystical cities designed on 202 hectares, will reach 460 meters. There will be space to hold radio and TV stations, several chapels, homes, a neighborhood for restaurants, conference rooms and an observation deck.

In the famous site of the apparitions of Fatima, Portugal in October, during the 13th anniversary of 1917, there were more than a million pilgrims. It is estimated that each year 4 million people arrive and this number is increasing year by year. The list of places of the apparitions is endless.

Thousands of people arrive in Amsterdam every year to celebrate the Day of the International Prayer to the Lady and Mother of All Nations. Many priests, bishops and cardinals preside over the event, which take the thousands of pilgrims from more than 70 countries and six continents in order to give honor to the Queen of all Nations. This apparition of the Virgin Mary has repeatedly presented to the visionary Ida Peerdeman with a message of unity that can only be achieved when the Church and the Pope officially proclaimed the Lady of All Nations, as Co-Redemptrix (see Mary as Co-redemptrix). Millions of Marian faithful defenders have submitted a petition to Rome to officially name it Co-Redemptrix.

That of the Marian apparitions is therefore a worldwide growing popular fact, as warned in Matthew 24:24.

The popularity of the apparitions and her messages has reached great proportions in all continents (see The woman of all religions). Marian Historians say that though the apparitions of Mary have been reported throughout the centuries, they have never had such consistency and frequency as those of nowadays.

In 1997, New Week reported in the cover story of the Virgin Mary:

In many ways, the twentieth century belonged to Mary. Almost every continent, visionaries have reported more than 400 apparitions of the Virgin - more than in all previous centuries put together ... took in their units, these views show that this is believed to be the Age of Mary of the millennium.

One might think that this phenomenon occurs in predominantly Catholic countries. But the apparitions are reported from Japan to Africa, from Korea to Australia, from Iraq to Israel, from Egypt to Syria. Whether you look deeply into the former Soviet Union and among the peoples of India, there is one thing in common: they were all visited by a woman who claims to be called Mary, Queen of Heaven, Our Lady.

Father Robert Faricy, in the book Queen of the Cosmos (Queen of the Cosmos), says:

It has never happened in the history of Christianity that the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to so many people for a period of time so long and with such regularity. Furthermore, it seems that the apparitions in Medjugorje have ushered in a new Marian Era. There are reports mentioning of these apparitions everywhere."

In his book, Call of the Ages (Call for nations), Thomas W. Petrisko writes:

Millions and millions of people from all continents of the globe have seen, heard and responded to the messages and apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Everywhere there is a significant increase in admissions to Marian shrines.

The Rev. Charles Dickson, PhD. Lutheran minister, reported this trend in the magazine Queen Magazine:

People from all over the world are traveling over great distances to demonstrate in person their veneration of the Mother of Our Lord.

He also claims that in France alone there are 937 shrines and pilgrimage locations and all this has increased by 10% in the last two years.

In Italy there are more than 1,500 Marian shrines, which represent 85% of all the shrines! These caves are not 'backyard' but significant sanctuaries where adherents go to Marian pilgrimage. While devotion to Mary is more noticeable in Catholic countries, it still attracts a huge following in every religion, race and nation.

Miracles

As regards miracles then, Jesus never made beat the sun or twist a cross on itself (two of the wonders in Medjugorje).

All the miracles Jesus made, were made in the context of his ministry. And the biblical miracles have a strong practical aspect. Many miracles associated with the Marian apparitions, in contrast, are dramatic and sensational, made to make the people pay attention - just the kind of miracles that Jesus categorically refused to make!

Jesus said that he would not give a sign and would not make any miracle until the day of his return:

Then some scribes and Pharisees began to say: "Master, we would like to see a sign." He answered them: "This evil and adulterous generation asks for a sign, and no sign will be given except the sign of the prophet Jonah. (Matthew 12:38-45)

The nature of miracles is a good reason to suspect of the Marian Apparitions.

We observed that the word of God condemns speaking with the dead. Every contact or revelation from them, whether it be Mary or someone else, is a communication with demons. The apostle Paul warns us that the devil "knows masquerade as an angel of light" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15), is able to perform "miracles, signs and lying wonders" (2 Thess. 2:9-10) , and during the Last Times false Christs and false prophets shall arise and they shall make great signs and wonders to seduce, if possible, even the elects" (Matthew 24:24). The devil is also able to predict the future (sometimes accurately) and declare a different way to salvation from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His goal is always to remove the man Jesus Christ, through the religion, deviating from the faith in Him as Savior and only one Mediator.

The purpose of the Adversary behind this phenomenon is perhaps to decentralize the faith of Catholics from Christ and the biblical elements of Catholicism with the emphasis on aspects less than biblical and sectarian Catholicism (Mariology in general, penance, purgatory, the veneration of dead saints). As long as the emphasis remains on these things, Satan can afford to sweeten its sham with a little 'of Christian theology - for example, telling followers of the apparitions to pray, to strive for peace, and so on.

"Do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are from God" (1 John 4:1).

The fact that the entity appeared in Lourdes and Fatima and refused to reveal its identity at the beginning, makes many suspicions about their matrix. And sprinkle holy water mixed with salt, as was done in the case of Medjudorje, does not mean "prove the spirits", but it's just a useless tradition created by men.

If the entity, which hides itself behind the APPARITION should say:

"HELLO TO ALL I AM SATAN, pray for me, build shrines for me and put your life into my hands!"

How many would follow him? How many? Just a few, of course. And Satan is a deceiver, he has always been so since the DAWN and can mix well good with evil (CROSS AND PRAYER with idolatry) to deceive the FAITHFUL TO GOD. He gets so HIS GLORY and the damnation of those who follow him!

I am the Lord, this is my name, I will not give my glory to anyone else, and the praise that falls to me to idols (Isaiah 42:8)
